Adjunct professor, David Abrams, along with his Merrill Lynch associates, recently contracted with Miami-Dade County to begin the construction process regarding the Florida Marlins’ new ballpark. Current MBASport students Andrew Kempe and Ali Postlewaite accepted full-time positions with the U.S. Air Force Academy Athletic Department and the University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department, respectively. Spring 2009 graduate Jamie Quadrozzi has accepted a full-time position with the Miami Dolphins’ special events team. She will coordinate all game day entertainment, cheerleader performances and appearances. Quadrozzi has coordinated the national anthem, jet flyovers, invocation, halftime shows, and grand plaza events for every home game during the 2008 season. Click here to read more.

Spring 2009 graduate Spero Mehallis has accepted a full-time position as the Marketing Coordinator for the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee. Mehallis creates sponsorship packages, works on sponsor fulfillment documents, researches for new prospective sponsors, maintains and updates the sponsor page on the Host Committee website, and puts together sponsorship agreements. Spring 2009 graduate Shelby Ball has accepted a full-time position at the University of Central Florida’s student-athlete academic service department.
